Come Laugh For Africa!
Stop me if you’ve heard this one…
A priest, a rabbi and a minister walk up to a water well…oh, you have heard this one? Well, there are going to be plenty of jokes you haven’t heard at the Laugh for Africa comedy showcase on August 29th. We’re talking about good jokes. The kind of jokes you’ll tell your coworkers weeks later and play them off as your own. (Go ahead, we won’t call you out.)
The event will feature some of Omaha’s best comedic talents and all the proceeds are going to help Aqua-Africa in our mission to bring clean drinking to the people of South Sudan. If you’re ready for some philantro-fun, here are the details:
What: Laugh for Africa
Where: The Waiting Room Lounge at 6212 Maple Street (Omaha, NE)
When: August 29th from 7pm to 9pm
How Much: The best $10 you’ll ever spend.
Where do I get tickets: Geez! So many questions! You can get tickets at the door or via this here link: http://www.etix.com/ticket/online/performanceSearch.jsp?performance_id=1743516
Our jokes are as clean as the water from the wells we dig so the show will be all-age-appropriate.
Rumor has it that Buey Tut himself will be performing at this event so attendees in the front row are encouraged to bring rain coats as his act can get messy.
Please note: Anyone under 18 years of age must have a notarized parental permission slip to attend. Please see The Waiting Room’s website http://www.waitingroomlounge.com for more information.
