Community Partnerships
Aqua-Africa uses a holistic community support model. To the extent possible, we partner with other national and international non-government organizations (NGOs) to provide services to the community that are NOT duplicative. WASH services and training are coordinated. Aqua-Africa assigns a “Project Representative”, a paid employee to coordinate service delivery in each target community it serves.
In Maiwut, South Sudan for example, we partner with Samaritan’s Purse. Pictured below (left to right) are Mabior Acouth of Aqua-Africa, Steven Yakani who is Samaritan’s Purse WASH Coordinator, Dr. Simon Gore and Adelio Obur of Rotary Club of Juba.
