Dangerous Work
June 27, 2023 – Maiwut, South Sudan. Aqua-Africa’s Vendor, CRN Drilling Company, is wrapping up some very dangerous construction work, assembling the steel tank atop the 40 foot water tower. It is back-breaking manual labor, because in this remote area of East Africa there are no cranes or automated support tools. Watch the video below as the workers struggle to hoist a steel panel to the top using pulleys and ropes.
