Eighth Tower Completed!

February 13, 2025 – Nadari, South Sudan. Over the past two months, Aqua-Africa’s vendor completed the implementation of a Village Supplier Water Tower in Nadari, South Sudan. Nadari is in Western Equatoria State and Nzara County. The 5,000 gallon elevated water tank will provide clean drinking water to nearly 6,000 beneficiaries through nearly 1/2 mile of pipes. The system will deliver water to 3 tap stands in Nadari, as well as Good Samaritan Maternity Hospital and St. Timothy’s elementary school. A secondary 3,000 liter solar tank was implemented at the school, which will also have hand-washing station for the students. Here is a video showing the development effort. The work was performed by CRN Drilling company, designed by Lamp, Rynearson Egineering of Omaha, Nebraska U.S.A., and funded by Nebraska donors, including the Sisters of Charity Leavenworth. It is an incredible development for this poor farm community and will improve health, economic vibrance, and save thousands of hours of water transportation time each year.
