Maiwut Update
June 9, 2023 – Maiwut, South Sudan. After completion of the Village Supplier tower at the Parish, Aqua-Africa’s vendor team, CRN, has moved on to construction work on the 7th Day Adventist Village Supplier. The water management committees elected by the community are visiting the water points for which they are responsible, as those water points are completed. Each tap stand includes a manhole which will be equipped with a water meter and shut-off valve.
Water line pipes are being manufactured in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and customs clearance documents have been approved and submitted. Transport should occur in the next few weeks. Excitement in the community of Maiwut continues to build.
