Nzara Hand-Pump Well Construction
A Rotary International Global Grant request submitted by Aqua-Africa and the Wausua, Wisconsin Rotary has been approved. The approval of this grant included the re-authorization of the Juba Rotary to oversee such future grants. This reauthorization not only benefits Aqua-Africa, but other Rotary Clubs and NGOs desiring to perform work in South Sudan through Rotary International funding. As a result of this generous gift, five hand-pump water wells serving 2,500 people will be built by Aqua-Africa in South Sudan later this year.
