Rotary Global Grant Work Completed
In December, 2019 and early January, 2020 Aqua-Africa’s South Sudan Country Director, Beatrice Safari Karlo, led a water drilling and construction team that installed five new hand-pump wells, in Western Equatoria State, South Sudan. This work was accomplished with funding previously authorized by Rotary International, the Wausau Rotary and The Episcopal Diocese of Iowa. Thanks to their tremendous support, the South Sudan Villages of Sakure, Ringasi, Yabua, Nakapo and Yabongo now possess new hand pump wells, and clean, accessible drinking water. We are so grateful for Rotary International and faith-based organizations’ support over these past 10 years.
