Solar Array Completed
July 26, 2023 – Maiwut, South Sudan. The construction of the solar array that supports the Village Supplier Water Tower at 7th Day Adventist Parish has been completed. The construction included welding, framing, and erection steps. Of special importance was frame location and proper tilt, ensuring that no trees or other obstacles would cast shadows blocking the sun’s rays.
Overall completion of the water systems is expected in the coming month. Followed by final inspection by an independent outside party, and turnover to the communities, with ribbon-cutting ceremony.
