Aqua-Africa’s mission depends on the financial support we receive from our donors. Tackling the water shortage in South Sudan requires a ground swell of support and contributions of all sizes are welcomed and appreciated. Whether a donation amounts to a drop, a bucket, or a reservoir, it represents another step in achieving our goals.


Maiwut Project Completed

October 1, 2023 – Maiwut, South Sudan. The installation of 4 village suppliers in Maiwut is complete. The systems provide the capacity to serve clean drinking water to 10,000 residents.

Happy Thanksgiving!

November 23, 2023 – Juba, South Sudan. Today, we are thankful for the support we receive to implement sustainable water systems and governance processes. We’re especially thankful for local community election commissioners who learn to mobilize their community, develop a slate of candidates, and conduct secret ballot elections. #MicroDemocracy works.



An important part of Aqua-Africa’s mission is to train communities in micro-democracy.
